Cosmofarma Exhibition, the beating heart of Italian pharmacy
Every spring, BolognaFiere, located in the exhibition district of the Municipality of Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, becomes the meeting point for the entire pharmacy world. For almost thirty years, Cosmofarma Exhibition has been the reference event for the sector in Italy: a professional fair entirely dedicated to health care, beauty care, and services revolving around the modern pharmacy. Organized by BOS S.r.l., a company of the BolognaFiere Group, it is sponsored by the main industry associations such as FOFI, Federfarma, Fondazione Francesco Cannavò, and UTIFAR.

Cosmofarma brings together over four hundred exhibiting companies each year and welcomes tens of thousands of visitors, including pharmacy owners, associate pharmacists, dermo-consultants, and industry operators. The pavilions host the latest in dermo-cosmetics, food supplements, nutraceuticals, medical devices, and digital services. For those working behind the counter, it's an opportunity to experience products firsthand, interact with companies, and stay updated on the trends transforming the profession.

Cosmofarma — edition 2026
The 29th edition of Cosmofarma Exhibition was held at BolognaFiere from May 8 to 10, 2026, under the claim "Regeneration/NewGeneration". The theme focused on the concept of generation in its multiple interpretations: intergenerational dialogue, the handover in pharmacies, gender issues, and the new generation shaping the profession. The edition was held alongside HealthAbility Experience.
Among the new features were the Longevity FarmaTalks and a dedicated Longevity Zone, the return of the Cosmofarma Hub AI on artificial intelligence applied to pharmacy, the participatory format of the Cosmofarma Agora, and the fifth edition of Cosmo Young dedicated to startups. The opening ceremony took place on May 8 in the Aula Magna of pavilion 28.

Getting there
BolognaFiere is located at Viale della Fiera/Via Michelino, in the Bologna exhibition district. By train: from Bologna Centrale station, dedicated buses and shuttles reach the fairgrounds in a few minutes. By car: take the Fiera exit from the Bologna ring road; ample parking is available. By plane: Bologna Marconi Airport is about 6 km away, connected by the People Mover (Marconi Express) to the central station.
Entry and tickets
Cosmofarma is a professional event reserved for industry operators (pharmacists, owners, associates, companies). Entry is generally free upon online registration; dedicated coupon codes are often distributed through trade publications. Registration and ticketing are available on the official website.
