The world exhibition of agricultural mechanics in Bologna

EIMA International is one of the most important exhibitions in the world dedicated to machinery for agriculture and gardening. The event takes place at BolognaFiere, in the Municipality of Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, from November 10th to 14th, 2026. Promoted by FederUnacoma (the federation of agricultural machinery manufacturers) and organized in collaboration with BolognaFiere, the event has been held biennially since 1969 and is now a benchmark for manufacturers, operators, and farmers worldwide.

Numbers of a major international event

Each edition of EIMA brings to the pavilions of the Bologna exhibition center around 1,750 exhibitors from about fifty countries and over 60,000 models of vehicles, machinery, and equipment for all types of agricultural work and green space maintenance. The previous edition, in 2024, recorded over 346,000 visitors, more than 60,000 of whom were foreign from around 150 countries, confirming the event's international scope and Bologna's role as a crossroads for the agri-mechanics industry.

Product sectors and specialized shows

The exhibition is divided into fourteen product sectors covering the entire supply chain: from tractors and machinery for soil preparation and sowing, to combine harvesters and harvesting machinery, from irrigation equipment to tools for gardening and landscape care. Alongside the main sectors, there are several themed shows dedicated to the most innovative areas of the sector:

• EIMA Green — machinery and equipment for gardening and green spaces;
• EIMA Energy — forestry and renewable energy;
• EIMA Idrotech — technologies for irrigation and water management;
• EIMA Digital — electronic technologies and precision agriculture;
• EIMA Extend — agri-mechanics supply chain and related industries;
• EIMA Campus — research, training, and orientation.

Conferences, demonstrations, and innovation

In addition to the exhibition, EIMA International offers a packed program of conferences, seminars, and workshops on innovation, sustainability, and the future of agriculture. There is also space for outdoor demonstrations and special areas, featuring the Tractor of the Year awards, Garden E-motion, the Contoterzista Driver Trophy, and the Real arena dedicated to robots and highly automated machinery. Robotics, drones, and artificial intelligence are now key players at the event, reflecting a sector increasingly focused on productivity, reducing environmental impact, and food security.
