The Elegance of the Automobile on Lake Como
The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is considered the most significant among the events celebrating the charm of historic automobiles. Born in 1929, it takes place in the splendid setting of Villa d'Este, in Cernobbio on Lake Como, in the province of Como, and is organized by BMW Group Classic in collaboration with the historic residence.
The Cars and the Competition
The absolute protagonists are the vintage cars: about fifty selected vehicles, divided into competition classes, parade before an international jury that evaluates elegance, originality, and condition. The most coveted award is the Best of Show, presented with the BMW Group Trophy to the car judged the most beautiful of the concours. The event often hosts world premieres of concepts and special models.
Public Days and Wheels & Weisswürscht
Alongside the exclusive concours, the Public Days at Villa Erba are open to the public, allowing everyone to admire the cars and the parade in the park. The weekend is completed by 'Amici & Automobili — Wheels & Weisswürscht', a convivial Bavarian-themed gathering for enthusiasts. An event that makes Como and its lake the international capital of automotive elegance.

The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2026 was held from May 15 to 17 on the shores of Lake Como, at Villa d'Este (Cernobbio). The car awarded Best of Show and the BMW Group Trophy was the 1937 BMW 328 'Bügelfalte'. The edition featured two world premieres – the Vision BMW ALPINA and the BMW Motorrad Vision K18 – as well as a special exhibition dedicated to racing cars at Villa Erba. The Public Days, open to the public, and the Wheels & Weisswürscht event were confirmed.

How to get there
The event takes place at Villa d'Este and Villa Erba, in Cernobbio, on Lake Como, just a few minutes from the center of Como. Como is reachable by train (Como San Giovanni and Como Nord Lago) and by car from the A9 motorway.
