The Grupo Compay Segundo de Buena Vista arrives in Termoli, in the province of Campobasso, for an evening dedicated to Cuban music. The ensemble carries on the legacy of Compay Segundo, a symbolic figure of Cuban son and a protagonist of the Buena Vista Social Club adventure, which in the 1990s brought the island's traditional music back to the world.
An Evening at the Teatro Verde
The concert takes place at the Teatro Verde, as part of the Estate Termolese program. Between son, bolero, guaracha, and the unmistakable sound of Caribbean guitars and percussion, the evening transports the audience to the atmosphere of Havana, in one of the most evocative events of the city's summer.
