Every spring, Piazza Ferraro in the center of Incisa Scapaccino (Province of Asti, Piedmont) transforms into a meeting point for vintage motor enthusiasts. The Classic Car Rally, organized by the Comitato Amici della Piazza, brings together collector vehicles from all eras: from the legendary Fiat 508 Balilla of the 1930s to the iconic Lancia Delta HF, a symbol of 1980s and 90s rallying.

The rally was established in 2025 and has quickly carved out a place in the Monferrato event calendar, uniting different generations through a shared passion for automobiles and the rediscovery of the local area.

The second-hand market that brings the square to life

The rally is held in conjunction with the second-hand market, a regular event taking place on the second Sunday of every month under the Foro Boario in Piazza Ferraro. The stalls, dedicated to reuse and collecting, liven up the entire day and offer visitors the chance to browse through vintage items, minor antiques, and small-scale crafts.

A convivial tour through the hills

The highlight of the day is the scenic drive of the historic cars through the local hills. After the gathering in the square, the vehicles set off on a convivial tour that passes through Incisa Scapaccino, Castelnuovo Belbo, and Bergamasco, before returning to the square. It is a perfect opportunity to admire the vineyard landscapes of the Monferrato while riding in cars that have made history.
