A rally that smells of sea and fuel

Born from the passion of a group of local Vespa enthusiasts, Circeo in Vespa has become one of the most beloved motor events in the lower Lazio region. Every year, on the last Sunday of May, dozens upon dozens of Vespas of every era and color gather in San Felice Circeo, one of Italy's most beautiful villages nestled at the foot of the Circeo promontory, in the province of Latina. The event is organized by the Alveare del Circeo association with the patronage of the Municipality of San Felice Circeo and the collaboration of the Pro Loco, highlighting the strong bond between the rally and the local community.

The formula: passion, territory, and conviviality

More than just a parade of vintage vehicles, Circeo in Vespa is a village festival on two wheels. The day begins early in the morning in Piazza Italo Gemini, in the La Pineta district, with registration, the distribution of gadgets, and breakfast provided for participants. Then comes the most anticipated moment: the Vespa parade, which winds through the town streets in a colorful and noisy snake-like procession to reach Area La Torre, the heart of the event.

Discovering the promontory

One of the rally's unique features is the guided tour of sites that define the local identity: a journey that recounts the history of Circeo from Imperial Rome to the 20th-century reclamation of the Pontine Marshes, and up to the artisanal activities of today. It is a clever way to transform a motor rally into an opportunity for cultural discovery in one of the most evocative corners of the Ulysses Riviera and the Circeo National Park.

The raffle with a Vespa 50 Special up for grabs

The grand finale is marked by a convivial lunch in the dining area and the traditional raffle draw: the first prize is a Vespa 50 Special fully restored by the official rally workshop, accompanied by numerous other prizes. It is a tribute to the most famous and iconic model in Piaggio's history, beloved by Italian cinema and music. Live DJ sets provide musical entertainment throughout the day.

An event for everyone

The rally is open to Vespa enthusiasts from everywhere, but curious onlookers and families will also find plenty to enjoy: the passing parade, the stalls featuring local Pontine food and wine products, and the festive atmosphere make this late May Sunday one of the liveliest days on the San Felice Circeo calendar. With about two hundred registered participants guaranteed to receive gadgets and lunch, the event has now reached a consolidated scale that attracts participants from all over Lazio and beyond.
