The Ciaeghù Fest, summer that plays in Dovera

The Ciaeghù Fest is the beer festival of Dovera, a small municipality in the Bassa cremasca in the province of Cremona. Every year, in mid-July, the Pro Loco of Dovera transforms the Via Europa area into a large open space dedicated to beer, food, and music, with four consecutive evenings that liven up the town center.

Four evenings of celebration

The formula is the tried-and-tested one of Lombardy's village festivals: the kitchen opens around 7:30 PM, with dishes designed to accompany the beer mugs, while the soundtrack grows in intensity as the evening progresses. DJ sets warm up the atmosphere from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, then make way for live music that accompanies guests until the end of the evening.

A festival for everyone

The Ciaeghù Fest is not just an event for the younger crowd: the presence of a dedicated kids' area and food stands makes it an event suitable for families too. It's one of those occasions when an entire town comes together, where people sit at outdoor tables, share stories of the year, and drink beer together, in the convivial spirit that characterizes the sagre (local festivals) of the province of Cremona.

Where it takes place

The festival area is located in Via Europa, in Dovera, easily accessible from the nearby towns of the Bassa cremasca and the Crema area. Admission to the event is free.
