About Mediglia Popular Festival
A tradition lasting half a century
The Festa Popolare di Mediglia is one of the longest-running and best-known events in the southeast Milanese area: in 2025, it celebrated its 50th edition. It is held in Triginto, a hamlet of the municipality of Mediglia in the Metropolitan City of Milan, around the Parish of Santo Stefano Protomartire, on Via Risorgimento 4.
Feast, faith, and community
Born from the desire to bear witness to the Christian experience that animates it, the festival combines the spiritual and popular dimensions. Each year, it offers a theme for reflection, presented through shows, talks, and an exhibition. Alongside this, the food stands, dancing evenings, games, and lottery draw make the event a gathering point for families and visitors from the entire Martesana and South Milan area.

The now-established format involves two consecutive September weekends, with food, music, and activities running from Friday to Sunday. An event rooted in the territory of Mediglia, which has attracted participants far beyond the municipal borders for decades.
Mediglia Popular Festival — edition 2026
The Festa Popolare di Mediglia returns to Triginto in 2026, faithful to its September appointment. With half a century of history, the event organized around the Parish of Santo Stefano Protomartire will once again offer its usual blend of gastronomy, dancing evenings, shows, and an annual theme for reflection.
