A Child-Friendly Carnival

In Feltre, the historic capital of the Feltrino area in the province of Belluno, Shrove Tuesday is dedicated to the youngest with the Children's Carnival. The streets and squares outside the city walls transform into a large space for games and fun, where children are invited to participate in costume.

An Afternoon of Celebration

The program includes baby dance and group dances, moments of comic entertainment, carnival games, balloon sculpting, face painting, and soap bubbles. There are also skill games, comic magic acts, and free distributions of cotton candy and popcorn, making the celebration even sweeter.

Spark of Carnival

The animated heart of the afternoon is the itinerant show "Scintilla di Carnevale" (Spark of Carnival), which parades through the streets of the center—from Via XXXI Ottobre to Via Roma, from Largo Panfilo Castaldi to Via Campo Giorgio, all the way to Piazza Vittorino da Feltre—involving young and old in a cheerful procession.

A Free Celebration for Families

Organized by the Municipality of Feltre, the Children's Carnival is a free event designed for families. An opportunity to experience the historic city center in an afternoon of colors, music, and joy.
