Marroni in Piazza is the autumn festival organised by Pro Loco Ponte in the hamlet of Ponte di Barbarano, in the municipality of Barbarano Mossano, province of Vicenza. It takes place between October and November, when the Berici Hills are tinged with the colours of the season.
Roasted Chestnuts and Mulled Wine
Piazza della Chiesa fills with the aroma of freshly roasted chestnuts and steaming mulled wine, the absolute stars of the day. It is a simple and genuine village festival, designed for gathering outdoors and sharing the flavours of the Berici autumn together.
A Community Tradition
Managed by Pro Loco volunteers, the event is one of the appointments that mark the calendar of initiatives in Ponte di Barbarano, from the 'Brusa la Vecia' in January to the Christmas events in December.
