Taste, tradition, and community for Legnago's patron saint, around November 11th
The Saint Martin's Flavors Festival is the event that in Legnago, in the province of Verona, celebrates the patron saint Saint Martin, whose feast day is November 11th. It is a multi-day event that combines gastronomy, farming tradition, and religious moments in the heart of the city.
The heart of the festival are the agri-food stands featuring typical local products, with tastings of the traditional "panin col codeghin" (bun with sausage) and risottos from the Legnago tradition. The event highlights the link between the city and its agricultural hinterland, in collaboration with Coldiretti.
The program alternates taste and folklore: the historic Saint Martin's Walk, the re-enactment of the Saint Martin's Cart, the blessing of agricultural vehicles after the Solemn Mass in the Duomo, and the Coldiretti conference. Among the most cherished events is the awarding of the Knightship of Saint Martin at the Fioroni Museum, an honor recognizing local excellence.
The event is promoted by Pro Loco Legnago in collaboration with the Municipality, the ViviLegnago association, and Coldiretti, and represents one of the most important autumn events in the Bassa Veronese region.
