Ceramic works by the Ceramicarte association in the Liberty kiosk of Casalmaggiore
In the center of Casalmaggiore, a city in the Province of Cremona overlooking the Po River, the characteristic Liberty kiosk in Piazza Garibaldi becomes the setting for an open-air ceramics exhibition. The Ceramicarte association animates it, bringing the creations of its members to the square in an exhibition that enhances one of the most scenic corners of the city.
The exhibition brings together the works of eight artists: Francesco Vitale (president of the association), Annalisa Bianchi, Michele Citro, Elena Contesini, Brunella Finardi, Uber Ferrari, Elisabetta Ghidini, and Renata Raschi. Each proposes their own expressive path, in a dialogue that shows the many possibilities of ceramic material, between research, technique, and creativity.
Based at via Romani 28, Ceramicarte is an expanding associative reality, offering courses and training in ceramic techniques and welcoming new members with diverse perspectives. The exhibition in the square is also an opportunity to introduce the city to this community of enthusiasts and the projects they carry forward.
The initiative is part of Casalmaggiore's vibrant cultural season and helps keep the focus on artistic craftsmanship in the Oglio-Po territory, between the provinces of Cremona and Mantua, an area long associated with applied arts and manual work.
The 2026 exhibition takes place from May 4th to June 4th in the Liberty kiosk of Piazza Garibaldi, transformed for the occasion into an open-air gallery. The works of the eight members of the Ceramicarte association are featured, presenting their respective paths in art ceramics.
Admission is free, in the open-air spaces of Casalmaggiore's central square.
