The event is curated by Black Records and Blow Rock, two Catania-based organizations active in promoting musical culture and collecting, in collaboration with other industry professionals. The fair has grown over time to become a highly anticipated appointment, with multiple editions held throughout the year.
Set in the heart of Catania, Sicily, along the Via Dusmet axis just steps from the port and the UNESCO-listed Baroque historic center, the Record Fair is a vibrant part of the city's cultural and musical scene. The 2026 Record Fair in Catania was held on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Nü Land - La Nuova Dogana, Via Cardinale Dusmet 2, with continuous hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on both days.
The edition brought together exhibitors and collectors from all over Italy, featuring collectible vinyl and rarities, CDs, DVDs, posters, T-shirts, audio cassettes, gadgets, and musical accessories, both new and used. The opportunity to trade and sell records directly with exhibitors was confirmed, with the arrival of over ten new exhibitors compared to previous editions.
The two-day event was accompanied by non-stop music with strictly vinyl DJ sets entrusted to some of the best DJs in Southern Italy, as well as live sets and showcases. Admission was free, with no ticket required.
