Sotto il Vulcano Fest is one of the most anticipated music festivals of the Sicilian summer. Every year, from July to September, the festival brings the Villa Bellini in Catania to life—the famous "Giardini Bellini" in the heart of the Etnean capital—transforming its open-air arena into a stage for the biggest names on the national and international scene. The event is organized by Puntoeacapo, under the artistic direction of Nuccio La Ferlita, and is part of the Catania Summer Fest program promoted by the Municipality of Catania.
A lineup spanning pop, rap, indie, and singer-songwriter
The festival's strength lies in its variety: the calendar ranges from pop to rap, indie to rock, and singer-songwriter music, featuring artists capable of speaking to different audiences and generations. Over the years, the stage at the Giardini Bellini has hosted Italian music greats, stars of the rap-urban scene, and international guests, in evenings that draw thousands of spectators from all over Eastern Sicily.

The setting is one of Catania's iconic landmarks: Villa Bellini, the historic 19th-century public garden overlooking the city center.
