For one night only, from sunset until dawn, the village streets and the surrounding vine rows are lit exclusively by the light of thousands of candles, creating a unique, timeless atmosphere.

The tasting stations: the "Lumi"

The heart of the event lies in the Lumi, the tasting stations set up along the route that winds through the vineyards to the historic center. Each Lume is hosted by local wineries offering the best of their production: the absolute stars are Asti Spumante DOCG and Moscato d'Asti DOCG, the signature wines of these hills. The glasses are paired with traditional Piedmontese culinary specialties, creating a journey that blends taste, landscape, and conviviality.

Music and entertainment under the stars

Along the way, visitors encounter live musical performances: jazz musicians and atmospheric music ensembles bring the corners of the village to life with piano, saxophone, and entertainment that continues late into the night. The combination of candlelight, fine wines, and music makes every edition a complete sensory experience.

The event, organized by the Consorzio dell'Asti DOCG, has seen growing success, attracting over 1,200 participants and earning recognition as a Nationally Recognized Quality Event. It has become a staple of the Monferrato summer, showcasing the viticultural and landscape heritage of this corner of Piedmont, a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status.
