The Carnevàl Sot l'Agner is the Carnival event of Voltago Agordino, a municipality in the province of Belluno nestled in the Agordina Basin, the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The name refers to Mount Agner, one of the most imposing peaks in the range, which provides a spectacular backdrop to the festival.
Parade from Frassenè to Voltago
The highlight is the parade of masks that starts from the hamlet of Frassenè and reaches Voltago, where the masked participants gather in the church square before parading through the village streets.
