About Carbonara Festival

The Carbonara Festival brings all the taste of Roman cuisine to Montirone, in the Brescian plain. For four days, in Piazza Manzoni, 35 chefs from the Capital prepare carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, but also supplì, porchetta, pinsa romana and typical desserts. DJ sets and live Roman music accompany the evenings in a large gastronomic gathering with free admission, designed for lovers of the Capital's culinary tradition.

The Carbonara Festival is the great gathering of Roman cuisine that animates Montirone, a municipality in the Brescian plain south of Brescia, in the Province of Brescia. In Piazza Manzoni, the festival celebrates the symbolic dishes of the Capital's culinary tradition, brought directly by their protagonists.

The great Roman classics

The absolute protagonists are the first courses of Roman cuisine: carbonara, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana, prepared by 35 chefs from Rome. Alongside the first courses, a rich offering of Roman street food with supplì, porchetta, pinsa romana, fried items, and typical desserts. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are also available to satisfy all palates.

Roman music and atmosphere

The Carbonara Festival is not just about gastronomy: the evenings are enlivened by DJ sets on Fridays and live Roman music on weekends, to recreate the festive atmosphere of the Capital's neighborhood festivals.
