Carano Fest

A village festival in the heart of the Val di Fiemme

Carano Fest is the summer festival of the small village of Carano, a hamlet in the municipality of Ville di Fiemme, located in the stunning Val di Fiemme in the autonomous province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). It takes place at the Tendone del Parco, an indoor-outdoor venue that becomes the center of village life for the day, complete with long tables, music, and games for all ages.

Who organizes the event

The event is conceived and managed by the volunteers of the Compagnia della Bandiera, an association founded in Carano that brings together local youth and residents to celebrate regional traditions. Proceeds from the festival support the association's activities and the village's community life, in the true spirit of Trentino village festivals.

The day's program

Carano Fest offers a program designed to engage both adults and children throughout the day:

• Watten Tournament, the traditional card game popular throughout the Trentino Alps, with registration by reservation;
• Human table football and group games for fun with friends;
• Inflatables and the "Firefighter games" designed for children starting in the afternoon;
• Fun activities like the guess the weight contest and baby dance for the little ones;
• Opening of the kitchen serving traditional Trentino dishes in the evening;
• Dancing with local bands and DJ sets that keep the marquee lively until midnight.
