For an entire weekend in August, the village transforms into a journey of taste and conviviality: the ancient rock-hewn cellars, which remain closed for the rest of the year, reopen their doors to visitors.

The cellars take center stage

The heart of the event lies in the historic center's old cellars, carved into the stone beneath the village houses. Each one offers a different tasting, allowing you to discover local wines and traditional dishes as you wander from alley to alley. It is an authentic way to experience the village from within, entering spaces that are usually private and rediscovering an ancient peasant culture rooted in wine, hospitality, and genuine flavors.

Music, shows, and atmosphere

The atmosphere is made even more vibrant by live music: concerts and roving performances accompany the toasts along the narrow streets of the center. The village's various squares—from Piazza Santa Vittoria to Piazza Giovanni XXIII and the small square known as Piazza del "Diavolo"—host groups and artists, while folk songs and wandering musicians bring the corners of the village to life until late. The mild climate of the August nights makes strolling between the cellars a relaxed and pleasant experience.
