A new guitar festival in the heart of the Marche
In the summer of 2026, the Municipality of Cantiano, a mountain hinterland village in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino at the foot of Monte Catria, hosts the first edition of Cantiano in Musica - Guitar Festival. The event brings the great guitar tradition to one of the most authentic territories of the Marche, transforming the historic center into a widespread stage where the six strings become the absolute protagonists.
Four evenings between the Ducal Palace and Corpus Domini
The program is divided into four events held in two of the most beautiful locations in the village. Two evenings take place in July in the setting of the Ducal Palace, while two evenings are held in August inside the Corpus Domini church, a space with an intimate acoustic and strong symbolic value. The inaugural concert is entrusted to the Masini-Costantino duo, a formation that offers a repertoire capable of making classical guitar dialogue with more contemporary sounds.
A choral project and the rebirth of Cantiano
Cantiano in Musica is born from the collaboration of several local entities: the Municipality of Cantiano, the Birrificio del Catria (Catria Brewery), Ventinicinque Srls by Luciano Arcangeli, and the Catria Republik Festival, which share stages, artists, and a spirit of community. The stated goal is to unite auteur guitar music with the vibrant independent music scene of the Marche, creating a festival with a broad scope but deeply rooted in the town.
The festival also takes on a meaning that goes beyond music: Cantiano is the village severely affected by the September 2022 flood, and this new event is proposed as an occasion for rebirth, choosing music as a symbol of restart and hope for the entire community.

Nestled along the ancient Via Flaminia, Cantiano is a village in the Marche region famous for its traditions, from the Holy Friday procession (Turba del Venerdì Santo) to the mountain culture of Monte Catria.
