Italy's young rowing talents on Lake Varese
The Italian U23, U17, and Junior Rowing Championship brings the young talents of national rowing to the Schiranna regatta course on Lake Varese. Organized by the Italian Rowing Federation, the event also counts towards the Montù Cup standings and represents a key appointment for the youth categories.
Lake Varese has been one of the epicenters of Italian and international rowing for years: the Schiranna has hosted European Championships, U23 World Championships, and World Cup stages, and the city has secured a multi-year mandate as a venue for major rowing events. For young athletes, competing here means measuring themselves on the same waters as the champions. The event takes place in the Municipality of Varese, in Lombardy.
The Italian U23, U17, and Junior Rowing Championship is held on June 20 and 21, 2026, on the Schiranna regatta course on Lake Varese. The event brings together the best young rowers in the youth categories and also counts towards the Montù Cup standings.
