The Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing gala at the Arena delle Grazie in Monteodorisio
Borgo Fight is the Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing gala held annually at the Arena delle Grazie in Monteodorisio, a charming village in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. Launched in 2015 by Master Ivano Siviero of A.S.D. Officina '84, the event has grown with every edition to become one of the most anticipated dates on the Abruzzo calendar and a national benchmark for ring sports.
What began as a local gathering has transformed into a gala of national and international stature. The ring at the Arena delle Grazie has hosted athletes who have gone on to win world titles, and each year the program raises the bar with competitive bouts, championship belts, and titles on the line. The format blends the passion of a local crowd with the professional organization of a major sporting event, featuring athletes from Abruzzo, Campania, Tuscany, Marche, Lazio, Puglia, and Emilia Romagna.
The Borgo Fight evenings feature a long sequence of Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing matches, with both men's and women's bouts across various weight classes. The open-air setting of the Arena delle Grazie provides a unique atmosphere: the illuminated ring, the roaring crowd, and the tension of the matches that continue late into the night. There is also a focus on the youngest fans, with introductory sports activities designed for children before the main event begins.
Beyond the competitive aspect, Borgo Fight is a celebration for the community of Monteodorisio and the entire Vasto area. The event highlights this Abruzzo village as a stage for combat sports and confirms the hard work of the Officina '84 gym in promoting Muay Thai and kickboxing in the region. It is an evening that unites competition, entertainment, and a sense of belonging, capable of attracting enthusiasts from all over the region and beyond.
The eleventh edition of Borgo Fight was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM, at the Arena delle Grazie in Monteodorisio. The event, organized by Master Ivano Siviero's A.S.D. Officina '84, marked an important turning point by hosting for the first time in Monteodorisio a bout valid for an Italian women's Muay Thai title, featuring a clash between Chiara Zoppi (Polisportiva Action) and Beatrice Bertocci (Siam Gym).
Among the main events of the 2026 edition, the Tornese Trophy saw Ammar Fahmi (Pro Fighting Napoli) face off against Davide Di Deo (Fightclubbing); the card also featured Stefano Senatore (Area 51) against Andrea D'Annunzio (Olimpiasport) and Antonio La Verghetta (Sparta Group Academy) against Nunzio Ramunno (Zero Passi Indietro Rimini). Teams from Abruzzo, Campania, Tuscany, Marche, Lazio, Puglia, and Emilia Romagna took to the ring for a long series of Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing matches that kept the arena buzzing until late in the evening.
The matches take place at the Arena delle Grazie in Monteodorisio (CH), in Abruzzo.
By car: From Vasto and the A14 motorway exit, you can reach Monteodorisio in a few minutes by following the signs for the village. The nearest train station is Vasto-San Salvo, on the Adriatic line.
