About Borgo diVino San Giorgio

Borgo diVino in Tour stops in San Giorgio di Valpolicella, a splendid medieval village among the most beautiful Villages in Italy, part of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella (Verona). In Piazza della Pieve, two days of tastings with over 40 wineries and more than 100 labels from all over Italy, accompanied by regional gastronomic specialties and live music. A widespread wine festival in the heart of Valpolicella, where Amarone, Recioto, Ripasso, and Valpolicella are the undisputed protagonists.

Italian wine in the most beautiful villages

Borgo diVino in Tour is the traveling food and wine exhibition that brings the best of Italian wine production to the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy. In 2026, the tour stops in San Giorgio di Valpolicella, a charming medieval village perched at an altitude of 395 meters, part of the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona. With its famous 12th-century Romanesque parish church, the village offers a setting of rare charm for a festival dedicated to wine.

Over 100 labels for tasting

For two days, Piazza della Pieve hosts over 40 wineries from Veneto and numerous Italian regions — including Piedmont, Tuscany, Abruzzo, Puglia, Sicily, and Sardinia — with a representation from Germany, for a total of more than 100 labels for tasting. Alongside the wine tasting, food stands offer regional specialties — cured meats and cheeses, traditional fried foods, pinsas, Roman pasta dishes — while live music accompanies the evenings.

In the heart of Valpolicella

The San Giorgio stop naturally celebrates the wines of the territory, where Amarone, Recioto, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, and Ripasso are the undisputed protagonists. The tasting kit formula with a glass and tickets allows you to freely explore the wine offerings, in an experience that combines the discovery of Italian wine with the beauty of one of the most fascinating villages in the province of Verona.
