Three days of wine, food, and music in the ancient village of the Riviera delle Palme
Every summer, the historic center of Grottammare, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, hosts one of the most anticipated stops of Borgo diVino in tour, the traveling food and wine exhibition that crosses the most beautiful villages in Italy. For three days, Piazza Peretti and Via Palmaroli, at the foot of Monte Castello and in the heart of the Riviera delle Palme, come alive with tasting stands, the aromas of local cuisine, and live music.
Grottammare, part of the 'I Borghi più belli d'Italia' circuit, is the ideal setting for an event that combines wine culture with the charm of a medieval village overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Strolling through the alleys with a glass in hand, discovering wineries from all Italian regions, is how this event invites you to experience the territory.
The heart of the event is the tasting route: with a voucher, you receive eight tastings of your choice from over one hundred labels available, selected from dozens of wineries that change and update annually until a few days before the opening. Entry to the area is free: you only pay if you wish to participate in the tastings.
Alongside the winery stands, a gastronomic area offers traditional Marche dishes and typical village specialties to enjoy during the evening. Live music accompanies the three days, making Borgo diVino in tour also an occasion for evening celebrations for residents and tourists of the Riviera delle Palme.
Borgo diVino in tour, founded in 2014, is a project promoted by the association 'I Borghi più belli d'Italia' and produced by Experience Lab (Valica group), which each year visits dozens of selected locations across the peninsula. The Grottammare stop represents the Marche appointment of the exhibition and is now a well-established tradition of the city's summer.
From July 17 to 19, 2026, the ancient village of Grottammare hosts a new edition of Borgo diVino in tour, the Marche stage of the food and wine exhibition of 'I Borghi più belli d'Italia'. For three evenings, Piazza Peretti and Via Palmaroli will welcome wineries from numerous Italian regions, a gastronomic area with local specialties, and live music. Entry is free; tasting is reserved for those who purchase the appropriate voucher.
The event takes place from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19, 2026, every evening from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, in Piazza Peretti and along Via Palmaroli.
The complete list of participating wineries and musical events will be published on the official website in the weeks preceding the festival.
