Fine dining and Ligurian tradition on Lungomare Argentina in Bordighera
Bordighera un Mare di Sapori is the food and wine festival that animates the Lungomare Argentina in Bordighera, in the province of Imperia, every summer. Promoted by the Municipality and Confcommercio with the patronage of the Liguria Region, the event celebrates the cuisine of the Riviera dei Fiori, combining Ligurian tradition with the innovation of fine dining.
The heart of the event is the show cooking sessions held at the Chiosco della Musica, where Michelin-starred chefs and restaurateurs reinterpret the flavours of the region. Each edition hosts a guest region โ in the past, Piedmont, with great names in cuisine such as Alessandro Boglione, Massimo Camia, and Fabio Ingallinera โ creating a dialogue between the excellences of the coast and those of the hinterland. Wine pairings are curated by professional sommeliers from ASPI, featuring Ligurian and Piedmontese labels.
Among the historical events of the festival are the selections for the World Championship of Pesto al Mortaio (Pesto made with mortar), with the presence of Roberto Panizza, creator of the Genoese event. The evenings are accompanied by live music and free public participation, in a festive atmosphere that promotes Ligurian products and producers.
With its mild climate and panoramic promenade, Bordighera offers the ideal setting for an event that focuses on food culture. Un Mare di Sapori is now one of the reference gastronomic events in the Ligurian Ponente, capable of combining haute cuisine, education, and regional promotion.
For 2026, Un Mare di Sapori confirms the formula of evening show cooking sessions at the Chiosco della Musica on Lungomare Argentina, featuring Michelin-starred chefs and restaurateurs reinterpreting Ligurian cuisine. Wine pairings are entrusted to professional sommeliers from ASPI. There will also be selections for the World Championship of Pesto al Mortaio and live music evenings. The detailed program with the names of the guest chefs will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.

Bordighera is served by the train station on the GenoaโVentimiglia line. By car, it can be reached from the Bordighera motorway exit (A10). The show cooking sessions take place at the Chiosco della Musica, on Lungomare Argentina.
Free participation in show cooking. Tastings at the stands are subject to a fee.
