About BirBusca
The Alto Milanese beer festival
BirBusca is the flagship event of the Associazione Ganassa in Buscate, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Alto Milanese area. Founded after the association's establishment (2007), the festival has carved out a permanent place in the local summer calendar over time, attracting large crowds every July to the festival grounds on via dei Campacci.
Beer, food, and music
The formula is the classic one for beer festivals: a wide selection of draft beers, a rich menu of dishes to accompany them, and a musical program that livens up the evenings with concerts and DJ sets. The organization is entirely entrusted to the Ganassa volunteers, who set up the festival area and manage the food and service every year.
A town gathering
BirBusca is above all a meeting point for Buscate and neighboring towns: for a few evenings, the festival grounds become the place to meet after dinner, between pints and concerts. For those passing through Alto Milanese in the summer, it's an opportunity to experience an authentic popular festival, managed from the ground up and growing with each edition.
BirBusca — edition 2026
For 2026, the Ganassa have launched the "save the date" for the seventeenth edition of BirBusca, scheduled for July at the festival grounds on via dei Campacci in Buscate. In recent editions, the festival has spanned four days at the beginning of the month (in 2025 from July 3rd to 6th, in 2024 from July 4th to 7th). The exact dates for 2026, the menu, and the music program will be announced on the official Facebook page of the Associazione Ganassa.
