About Bezzecca Music Festival

Every June 21st, on the summer solstice, the village of Bezzecca in the Ledro Valley transforms into a vast open-air stage. Streets, squares, and courtyards come alive with music and dancing, featuring dozens of bands and hundreds of musicians from across Italy and abroad. This free, participatory event, organized by the Ledro in Musica association, blends diverse musical genres with local culinary delights in a communal festive atmosphere that lasts until late at night.

Bezzecca celebrates the start of summer with music

The Bezzecca Music Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in the Ledro Valley, located in the municipality of Ledro, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Every year, on the summer solstice (June 21st), the small village of Bezzecca lights up with sound and color to celebrate the arrival of the warm season, in line with the European Music Day founded in France in 1982 to unite people through music.

A village turned into a widespread stage

For one whole night, the streets, squares, and courtyards of Bezzecca become one large open-air venue. Numerous musical stations are set up throughout the town: starting from the historic heart of the village, Piazza Garibaldi, which is traditionally dedicated to the opening, and extending to other areas, such as the Barusse zone, often reserved for DJ sets. Dozens of bands and hundreds of musicians take turns, offering a deliberately eclectic program.

Music for every taste

The range of genres is vast and designed to satisfy every ear:

  • Rock, pop, and singer-songwriter music for younger audiences and beyond;
  • Folk, acoustic, and world music featuring international guests;
  • Jazz, electronica, and DJ sets in areas geared toward dancing;
  • Classical and choral music, showcasing the valley's strong band tradition.

The event is made possible by the hard work of the Ledro in Musica association, in collaboration with the Valle di Ledro Band and the patronage of the Municipality of Ledro, thanks to the contribution of numerous volunteers.

Note di Gusto: where music meets the valley's flavors

The soundtrack is accompanied by the "Note di Gusto" gastronomic experience: local bars, restaurants, and butchers offer "made in Ledro" street food featuring typical local products, allowing the public to eat and drink while moving from one stage to the next. The result is a true community celebration, where music and conviviality intertwine from late afternoon until late at night.

A free event for the whole family

Admission is completely free. The day begins in the afternoon with a preview dedicated to children, featuring games and entertainment, before the center of Bezzecca transforms into a continuous stage for live concerts. It is an authentic way to discover the Ledro Valley and experience one of its most cherished summer traditions.

Bezzecca Music Festival — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Bezzecca Music Festival was held, as is tradition, on the day of the summer solstice, Sunday, June 21, 2026. The Ledro Valley village once again transformed into a widespread stage, with live music of all genres in the streets and squares, and the unmissable "Note di Gusto" gastronomic offering, all with free admission.

The Bezzecca Music Festival returned on June 21, 2026, to celebrate the summer solstice. The proven formula was confirmed: numerous musical stations set up in the village center, starting traditionally from Piazza Garibaldi, and a program ranging from rock to folk, jazz to electronica, and choral music. The event, organized by the Ledro in Musica association with the Valle di Ledro Band and the patronage of the Municipality of Ledro, maintained free admission and the "made in Ledro" street food offering.
