Bergeggi and its protected sea

Overlooking one of the most beautiful stretches of coast on the Riviera di Ponente, the village of Bergeggi (Province of Savona) guards a natural treasure: the Isola di Bergeggi Protected Marine Area, with its island and its seabed rich in life. The BergeggiMareFest, a festival of outdoor activities and the sea, is dedicated to this heritage and enlivens the coastline every spring.

Water sports and nature, all free

The festival offers a rich program of free activities to bring the public closer to the sea and nature: kayaking, SUP (stand up paddle), snorkeling, walking excursions, and activities designed for children. It's an opportunity to try water sports safely, guided by the operators of the Protected Marine Area, and to discover the biodiversity of this corner of the coast.

A sustainability event

Organized by the Isola di Bergeggi Protected Marine Area together with the Pro Loco Bergeggi, BergeggiMareFest combines fun and environmental awareness, promoting tourism that respects the sea and the territory. During the early summer period, the event opens the bathing season with a focus on nature conservation, enhancing one of the most picturesque locations on the Savona Riviera di Ponente.
