The international motorcyclists' week in the city of the Little Lion
Every September, Pesaro, the capital of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region, transforms into an international meeting point for two-wheel lovers with Benelli Week, one of Italy's most cherished motorcycle events. For an entire week, the city of the Little Lion welcomes hundreds of motorcyclists from all over Europe and distant countries, united by their passion for the Benelli brand and, more generally, for vintage and touring motorcycles.
The focal point of the event is the Museo Officine Benelli, located on Viale Mameli, the custodian of the memory of one of Italy's oldest and most glorious motorcycle manufacturers, founded in Pesaro in 1911. Here, dozens of historic motorcycles are displayed, from legendary racing models to the production bikes that made motorcycling history. Throughout the week, the museum serves as the event's headquarters, the starting point for tours, and a meeting place for participants.
The program is structured around a series of motorcycle rides that take participants to discover the region each day: the hills of the Marche, the villages of Montefeltro, the Apennine passes between Marche and Umbria, the natural parks, and the region's iconic destinations. These are guided routes of varying lengths, from half-day scenic rides to more challenging multi-hundred-kilometer journeys. The evenings are dedicated to convivial moments, presentations, and themed events related to the brand's history.
Although organized by the Registro Storico Benelli (Benelli Historic Register) and the Moto Club Pesaro Tonino Benelli, Benelli Week is not exclusively for owners of Little Lion motorcycles: the initiative is open to motorcycles of all makes, eras, and engine sizes. It is this inclusive spirit, combined with the charm of Pesaro's motorcycle tradition, that makes it a beloved event for an increasingly international audience.
Pesaro is not just the city of music and Rossini; it is also one of the historic capitals of Italian motorcycling. Benelli Week celebrates this identity, intertwining the memory of the great riders and models that have written the brand's history with the desire to experience the territory on two wheels. For enthusiasts, it is an unmissable opportunity to breathe the atmosphere of the Little Lion's home directly in the places where it was born.
The 2026 edition of Benelli Week will take place in Pesaro from September 14th to 20th, 2026. Confirmed in the calendar of major city events and by the organizers of the Museo Officine Benelli, the event will maintain its established format: a week of motorcycle rides to discover the Marche region and the Apennines, starting from the museum on Viale Mameli, interspersed with themed evenings and convivial moments. The event, organized by the Registro Storico Benelli and the Moto Club Pesaro Tonino Benelli, is open to motorcycles of all makes and eras. International registrations are already numerous in the months preceding the event.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition (daily itineraries, destinations, departure times, and themed evenings) will be published on the official website officinebenelli.it in the weeks preceding the event, as is traditionally done.
