All proceeds from the evening are donated to support the "Don Giuseppe Venturini" reception center, managed by the La Ricerca Foundation, which welcomes people with HIV-AIDS. The dinner is organized by the association La Pellegrina, a local organization active for years in hospitality initiatives and other charity events such as briscola tournaments and themed dinners. Participating in the Polentata means enjoying an evening in good company and, at the same time, contributing to a social project rooted in the Piacenza area.
