Classical music among villas, churches, and landscapes of the Lario
The Bellagio and Lake Como Festival is a traveling classical music review, conceived and directed by pianist and composer Rossella Spinosa. The absolute protagonist is the Orchestra of Bellagio and Lake Como, joined by soloists, guest ensembles, and youth orchestras from all over Europe.
The festival brings great music to the most evocative locations in the territories of Como and Lecco: historic villas, churches, museums, and residences overlooking the Lario become open-air concert halls. Many events are free, with the aim of opening up and spreading musical culture in the area.
Alongside the concerts, the event promotes young musicians through competitions and collaborations with youth orchestras. Over the years, the festival has explored different themes, intertwining classical music with other arts, such as cinema, to bring masterpieces of the repertoire closer to the general public.
Based in Bellagio, the famous 'pearl of Lake Como', with concerts spread across both shores of the Lario, the festival has become a benchmark summer event for music lovers and tourists. A unique way to experience the Larian landscape, between notes and beauty, in the province of Como.
The 2026 edition of the Bellagio and Lake Como Festival, the fifteenth, is expected in the summer months with the usual traveling format. The Orchestra of Bellagio and Lake Como, under the artistic direction of Rossella Spinosa, brings classical music to the most evocative locations on Lake Como.
The complete concert schedule and the theme of the edition will be announced on the official website in the preceding months.
Based on previous editions, the festival includes:
