Three evenings of craft beer and live music at the Pioppeto of Cerredolo
The Beer Music Festival of Cerredolo is one of the most established summer events in the Reggiano Apennines. It takes place in the hamlet of Cerredolo, in the Municipality of Toano (province of Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna), in a green and shaded area called il Pioppeto, overlooking the Dolo river. Organized by the Pro Loco Cerredolo, the festival has grown edition after edition to become a benchmark for those who love live music and good beer, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Reggiano and Modenese mountains.
The heart of the celebration is the combination of craft beer and free concerts. Bands and musical projects ranging from rock to blues, up to psychedelic sounds and seventies atmospheres alternate on the Pioppeto stage. Over the years, the festival has hosted emerging local bands and well-known names from the Reggiano and Emilian scene, alternating evenings dedicated to covers of great classics with original proposals. Alongside the stage, there are beer taps with a wide selection of beers and Pro Loco stalls.
The gastronomic part is entirely handled by Pro Loco volunteers: every evening, starting from the late afternoon, the stalls offer piadine (flatbreads), sandwiches, Apennine specialties, and traditional Emilian dishes, to be enjoyed at outdoor tables. A cocktail bar, a market area, and play areas complete a convivial and family atmosphere, where people stop for dinner and stay until late at night listening to music.
The Beer Music Festival has free admission: anyone can participate in the evenings, listen to the concerts, and discover the hospitality of a small Apennine village. More than just a local festival, it is a celebration that unites volunteers, residents, and visitors, keeping alive the identity of Cerredolo and telling the authentic soul of the Toano mountains.
The 2026 edition of the Beer Music Festival of Cerredolo will be held from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the Pioppeto, in the hamlet of Cerredolo in Toano (RE). The dates are confirmed by the official event calendar of the Municipality of Toano. As tradition dictates, the festival organized by Pro Loco Cerredolo will offer three evenings of craft beer, cuisine, and free live music.
The detailed musical program for the 2026 edition, including the bands for the three evenings, will be announced in the weeks preceding the event on the official Facebook page and through Pro Loco Cerredolo's channels. As per tradition, the evenings of Friday, July 17, Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19 will feature live concerts (rock, blues, and psychedelic sounds), craft beer taps, and Pro Loco's food stalls, open from late afternoon.
