Four nights of beer, live music, and street food at the Market Area
Every year at the end of June, the Market Area in Pastorano transforms into a vibrant open-air party for four consecutive nights. The Beer Fest is the signature beer festival of this small town in the upper Caserta region, within the Province of Caserta. In just a few short years, it has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the area, offering ice-cold draft beer, a dedicated street food zone, and a nightly changing artistic program—all with free admission.
The event is organized by Pastorano Group Events, a group of local young people who decided to dedicate their time and energy to summer evenings in the Municipality of Pastorano. The first edition took place in 2024, when the festival occupied the market area for four nights in late June, with shows starting around 9:30 PM. Since then, the format has remained consistent, but the event has grown in both attendance and the quality of its artistic lineup, reaching its third edition in 2026.
The 2026 edition took place from Thursday, June 25th to Sunday, June 28th, featuring a unique program each night that blended live music, DJ sets, comedy, and traditional Campanian folk culture:
The gastronomic heart of the festival is, of course, the beer, served ice-cold on draft at stands set up throughout the market area. However, the Beer Fest is more than just a beer festival: the food area offers sandwiches, fried specialties, and street food favorites that can be enjoyed at communal tables, fostering that slightly noisy, warm, and familiar conviviality typical of Campanian town festivals. It is an event designed for all ages, where the younger crowd gathers in front of the stage until late, while families take advantage of the early hours for an open-air dinner.
Pastorano is a small town in Campania located in the hinterland of the Province of Caserta, a short distance from Sparanise, Vitulazio, and Calvi Risorta. Set in an agricultural area of the Caserta plains rich in historical landmarks and culinary traditions, festivals like the Beer Fest hold a value that goes beyond mere entertainment: they are moments when the community reconnects, when those who have moved away return for a few nights, and when local associations put their skills to the test. It is also a great opportunity for those visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta or the amphitheater of Santa Maria Capua Vetere to discover a more authentic, less touristy side of the province.
The Beer Fest in Pastorano does not aspire to be a massive beer festival; it is a community event that is free, open-air, and features a lineup mixing cover bands, neomelodic music, cabaret, and Campanian folk. That is exactly where its charm lies: those looking for a genuine taste of the Caserta summer, far from the tourist circuits, will find four simple, lively, and sincerely popular evenings here. The event is held annually around the last weekend of June, with dates and programs confirmed via the organizers' social media channels.
Four consecutive nights, from June 25th to 28th, 2026, marked the third edition of the Beer Fest in the Market Area of Pastorano, in the Province of Caserta. The formula that ensured the success of previous seasons was confirmed: free admission, ice-cold draft beer, street food stands, and a stage with a different event each night.
The lineup alternated live Italian music, comedy, DJ sets, and traditional Campanian folk, reflecting the stated desire of the organizers, Pastorano Group Events, to offer a program capable of appealing to all age groups, from the youngest to families from the town and neighboring municipalities.
Opening of the third edition with the DueQuarti Band, who performed a medley of Italian music. Following them, the comedy show «Mica so' io?» by Francesco Procopio.
A night dedicated to Neomelodica Dance, with DJ sets, live vocals, and dancers for a high-energy evening.
Concert by OndaBeat, featuring the greatest hits to dance under the stars.
Grand finale with the Spaccapaese Show by Gerardo Amarante: folk, energy, and traditional Campanian culture to close the third edition.
Stage performances are scheduled for the evening, starting approximately at 9:30 PM. Beer stands and the street food area remain active throughout the event.
Pastorano is easily accessible by car via the A1 Milan-Naples motorway, taking the Capua exit and continuing along the provincial roads toward Sparanise and Pastorano. By train, the reference stations are Sparanise and Vitulazio, on the Rome-Cassino-Naples line, from which you can continue by car or taxi.
The festival is set up in the Market Area of Pastorano, an open space in the center of town featuring a stage, beer stands, a food area, and tables. Parking is available on the surrounding streets.
Admission is free for all evenings. Stands open in the evening, and stage performances typically begin around 9:30 PM. Beer, drinks, and food are paid for directly at the individual stands.
As this is an open-air event in late June, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a table. For confirmation of dates, times, and the program, it is always useful to check the organizers' Facebook page in the days leading up to the event.
