The Beat Festival in Empoli

The Beat Festival is one of Tuscany's most popular musical events, held every summer at the Parco di Serravalle in Empoli, in the province of Florence. For over a week, between late August and early September, the park becomes the beating heart of Empoli's nightlife, with a program that alternates between big names in Italian music, emerging artists, DJ sets, and entertainment for all ages.

A 360-degree festival

Beat is more than just a concert series; it is a true summer village. Alongside the main stage, you will find the food area, featuring food trucks from all over Italy offering Tuscan, international, vegetarian, and vegan cuisine, as well as the craft brewery area with a selection of microbreweries, markets, and social spaces. The food, market, and brewery areas open in the late afternoon with free admission, while the major concerts take place in the evening.

Focus on youth

One of the distinctive features of the Beat Festival is its commitment to the younger generation. Over the years, the festival has hosted the Gen Zone, a space dedicated to meetings, debates, and workshops managed by local youth associations, focusing on social issues, identity, and contemporary culture. The festival is organized by the Associazione Beat 15, under the patronage of the Municipality of Empoli and with the support of the Metropolitan City of Florence.

The 2026 program

The 2026 edition runs from August 27th to September 4th and features a particularly rich lineup, catering to diverse genres and audiences: from rock to singer-songwriters, rap to comedy, and the best of Italian songwriting. The announced artists include major names from the national and international music scene.
