Every spring, the Church of Sant'Antonio in Barletta—located in the heart of the Barletta-Andria-Trani province in Puglia—becomes the stage for Azioni in Danza, a festival that brings the best of Italian and European choreographic research to the city. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Barletta in partnership with Puglia Culture, in collaboration with the Anticorpi XL Network and the KRASS Association, a local Apulian organization led by Stefania D'Onofrio that has been exploring contemporary body language for years.

The thirteenth edition of Azioni in Danza animated the Church of Sant'Antonio in Barletta from May 7 to 17, 2026. Promoted by the Municipality of Barletta with Puglia Culture, the Anticorpi XL Network, and the KRASS Association, and curated by Stefania D'Onofrio, the festival offered a dense calendar of evening performances, masterclasses, workshops, and creative residencies, confirming its status as a benchmark for contemporary dance in Puglia.

How to get there
Barletta is served by the railway station on the Adriatic line (Trenitalia) and the Ferrotramviaria network. By car, take the Barletta exit on the A14 (Adriatic motorway). The Church of Sant'Antonio is located in the historic center, within walking distance of the station.

Full-festival passes and single-show tickets are available, with discounts for teachers, dance students, seniors (over 65), and youth. Tickets can also be purchased on the evening of the performance.
