About Avioraduno
A Meet Long-Awaited for Forty Years
The Avioraduno of the Aero Club d'Italia returns in June 2026 to the Leopoldo Eleuteri airport in Castiglione del Lago, in the province of Perugia, after an absence of over forty years. This is the first national meet promoted by the organisation to showcase and celebrate all disciplines of flight, attracting aircraft and crews from all over Italy to the shores of Lake Trasimeno.
All Disciplines of Flight
The programme brings together an unusually wide range of aeronautical activities: hot air balloons, displays by gliders and aerobatic aircraft, historic aircraft in collaboration with the HAG (Historical Aircraft Group), model aircraft and rocketry, and skydiver jumps. There is also space for water aviation: seaplanes from the Aero Club of Como will participate in the event, creating a temporary water runway in front of Castiglione del Lago.
Not Just a Spectacle
The Avioraduno is also a forum for discussion within the sector. Three conferences are scheduled: on Friday evening, at Palazzo della Corgna in Castiglione, the topic will be the development of air tourism, a strategic theme for an area that identifies strongly with aviation. The event thus aims to foster dialogue between air shows, the promotion of flying culture, and the tourism potential of the Trasimeno region.
Avioraduno — edition 2026
The inaugural edition of the Avioraduno of the Aero Club d'Italia will take place from 19 to 21 June 2026 at the Eleuteri airport in Castiglione del Lago. This event has been missing for over forty years and brings aircraft and crews from all over Italy to Lake Trasimeno.
Among the participants: hot air balloons, gliders, and aerobatic aircraft, historic aircraft in collaboration with the HAG, model aircraft and rocketry, skydivers, and seaplanes from the Aero Club of Como, with a temporary water runway in front of the town. Three sector conferences complete the programme.

How to Get There
Leopoldo Eleuteri airport is located in Castiglione del Lago (PG), on Lake Trasimeno. By car, take the Tuoro or Magione exit; by train, Castiglione del Lago station is on the Florence-Rome line.
Venues
The displays will take place at Eleuteri airport; the conferences will be held at Palazzo della Corgna in the centre of Castiglione del Lago.
