The Beer Festival is one of the newest summer events in Ausonia, a small town in the province of Frosinone nestled in the Monti Aurunci of southern Lazio. Born in 2025 on the initiative of the Municipal Administration, the festival brings an evening of draft beer, authentic flavors, and live music to the heart of the village.

An event for the community

The idea behind the event is simple and heartfelt: to offer residents and visitors a moment of conviviality during the warm July nights. The town squares are transformed into a large open-air space where you can enjoy a cold beer, taste traditional Ciociaria dishes, and catch up with friends. It is a popular, free festival designed for all ages, from young people to families.

Gastronomy and local flavors

Alongside beer mugs, food stalls offer local specialties and simple dishes from Ciociaria cuisine. The Beer Festival thus fits into the rich tradition of Lazio's village festivals, where street food and local products take center stage alongside music.

Live music

The soundtrack of the festival is provided by local bands and artists, who accompany the evening with live concerts. In the first edition in 2025, the stage hosted the band Onda Libera along with Luciano Pifi, for an evening of music that enlivened the town center until late.

Ausonia and the Monti Aurunci

Hosting a new summer festival is a way for Ausonia to showcase its historic center and identity. The village, overlooking the Garigliano valley and surrounded by the Monti Aurunci, is also known for the historic Millenary Fair of the Assumption in August. The Beer Festival adds to the municipality's summer calendar, helping to enliven the tourist season in this corner of Ciociaria, in the province of Frosinone.
