The Augusta Music Festival

The Music Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in Augusta, in the province of Syracuse, in the heart of southeastern Sicily. It is held every year on June 21st, coinciding with the summer solstice, in harmony with the grand celebration that spread from France across Europe and Italy. Organized by the municipal administration, the event brings live music to the streets and squares of the historic center, with Piazza Duomo serving as the main stage.

The festival is above all a showcase for local artists: solo singers, choirs, marching bands, and Augusta-based groups take turns on stage, offering the city a cultural opportunity that knows no age limits.
