The village becomes a celebration
In the heart of summer, Colli a Volturno (IS) experiences the Agosto Collese, a month of events that liven up the town with flavors, music, and tradition. Among the most characteristic events is Borgo in Festa, an evening that brings the celebration directly into the alleys of the historic center.
Music, food, and tradition
For one evening, the village transforms: stands of local food, music, and moments of popular tradition fill the streets and small squares of the town. It's an opportunity to discover the most authentic soul of Colli a Volturno, strolling among the stone houses of a village in the Volturno valley, at the foot of the Mainarde mountains.
The Agosto Collese
Borgo in Festa is part of the rich program of the Agosto Collese, promoted by the Pro Loco of Colli a Volturno in collaboration with the municipal administration and the Gruppo Alpini. A calendar that, throughout the month, combines gastronomy, music, markets, and culture, attracting residents, tourists, and the many emigrants who return to the village for the summer.
Village in Celebration — edition 2026
Borgo in Festa returns to Colli a Volturno in the summer of 2026, as part of the Agosto Collese program promoted by the Pro Loco with the Municipality and the Alpini Group. The evening, set in the historic center, will again feature music, local food, and tradition. In 2025, it took place on August 9th; the date and program for 2026 are still to be confirmed.

Program coming soon. The exact date and details of the Borgo in Festa 2026 evening will be announced by the Pro Loco of Colli a Volturno in the Agosto Collese schedule. As in previous editions, the evening will liven up the historic center with music, local food stands, and moments of popular tradition.
