For August 2nd, the Car Trunk Market Association, based in Melizzano, integrates into the August Fair: participants sell vintage clothing, books, antique toys, musical instruments, art objects, small antiques, and all kinds of curiosities directly from their trunks. Admission is free for the public; to exhibit, one must join the association and fill out the required form, distinguished between hobbyists and commercial operators.
Music, Children, and Food Stands

Frasso Telesino, between Taburno and the Telesina Valley
Frasso Telesino is a small village in the Province of Benevento, in Campania, spread across the western slope of the Taburno Camposauro massif and surrounded by Monte Sant'Angelo, Monte Cardito, and the Serra del Ceraso. Local tradition links its origins to the populations that left the Telese area after the earthquake of 1349, but the town is documented as early as the medieval period and in 1496 hosted King Frederick I of Naples, who signed several decrees there. How to get there
By car: reach the Telesina Valley along the SS 372 Telesina, exit towards Frasso Telesino, then follow the provincial road to the town center; the village is about 30 km from Benevento and just over 40 km from Caserta. By train: the Telesina Valley is crossed by the Caserta–Benevento railway line, from whose stations you can continue by car or local connections. On the day of the fair, it is best to arrive early and leave your car in the areas on the outskirts of the historic center, as the square is occupied by stalls.

Tips
The morning is the best time for craft and car trunk stalls, when the selection is still complete; the evening is when live music and food stands are at their peak. Frasso Telesino is a good base for a longer day in the Taburno Camposauro Park: the hermitage of San Michele can be visited in half a day.
