A day of craftsmanship, market stalls, and live music in the heart of San Raffaele Cimena
The Artisans and Merchants Festival is the event that, in the heart of summer, transforms the center of San Raffaele Cimena into a widespread showcase of local trades. The town, located on the hills to the right of the Po river, just a few kilometers from Turin in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, reserves its most central streets for local artisans and merchants, who display their products, creations, and specialties along a path to be discovered while strolling.
The heart of the festival is Via Ferrarese and the square in front of the Town Hall: this is where the stalls, craft stands, and workshop areas are located. The intimate size of the village allows you to experience the event in a relaxed way, moving on foot from one spot to another without haste, between a chat with the exhibitors and a delicious break.
Organized with the involvement of the Municipality of San Raffaele Cimena and the Pro Loco, the festival is first and foremost a meeting point for residents and an opportunity for visitors from neighboring towns to discover a quiet corner of the Turin hills. Admission is free and the atmosphere is that of a genuine, welcoming Piedmontese village festival, where attention to local activities blends with the pleasure of being together in the open air.
The 2026 edition of the Artisans and Merchants Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 in San Raffaele Cimena. Starting at 4:00 PM, along Via Ferrarese and in the square in front of the Town Hall, craft exhibitions, workshops for all ages, market stalls, and street food points will come to life. The soundtrack of the day is provided by live music, featuring a performance by the Swinga Brasil Show.
The event continues throughout the afternoon and evening. Detailed schedules for individual appointments will be communicated by the organizers closer to the date.
San Raffaele Cimena is located in the hills to the right of the Po, a few kilometers from Turin. By car, it is easily accessible from the Turin ring road and the roads that climb the hills; the events take place on Via Ferrarese and in the Town Hall square, right in the center.
The festival takes place over a single day, starting in the afternoon (from 4:00 PM) and continuing into the evening. Admission is free.
As this is an outdoor event in a small village, it is best to arrive calmly and park in the designated areas of the town. For up-to-date information on the program and times, it is useful to check the Municipality's website or contact the Pro Loco of San Raffaele Cimena.
