Two days of art crafts, workshops, and creativity at the MET of Santarcangelo
ARTIGIAMO is the event that celebrates craftsmanship and creativity in Santarcangelo di Romagna, a hilltop gem in the province of Rimini in Emilia-Romagna. Born in 2025 from a passion for manual work, the festival brings together artisans, masters of art crafts, and tool companies in a single space, offering an authentic overview of Italian know-how. Wood, ceramics, leather, iron, wool, and traditional Romagna prints come together over two days dedicated to those who love handmade things.
ARTIGIAMO is not just a fair: it's an experience that engages all the senses. Among the stands, you can observe the craftsmanship up close, discover ancient techniques, and purchase unique items, while the masters share their art. The atmosphere is that of a high-quality village festival, with a focus on families.
From the second edition onwards, the festival is held at the MET - Museum of Uses and Customs of the people of Romagna, on via Federico Montevecchi in Santarcangelo. This ethnographic museum, dedicated to the traditions and daily life of the people of Romagna, is the ideal setting for an event that aims to pass down and enhance traditional crafts. Activities take place in the museum's park and spaces, fostering a perfect dialogue between past material culture and contemporary creativity.
Santarcangelo di Romagna is famous for its ancient artisan tradition, from rust printing on fabric to the historic workshops in the town center. ARTIGIAMO is part of this tradition and helps to keep it alive, providing a platform for a new generation of artisans from all over the region. A spring event that combines culture, manual skills, and conviviality in the Romagna village.
The 2026 edition of ARTIGIAMO marked the festival's move to the MET - Museum of Uses and Customs of the people of Romagna, an ideal setting for an event dedicated to know-how. Artisans and tool companies gathered in the park and spaces of the ethnographic museum, with a market exhibition of artisan products, tools, machinery, and innovation, aimed at professionals, enthusiasts, and the curious.
The heart of the two-day event was the hands-on workshops, open to all and without booking: from ceramics to wool processing, from piadina to fresh pasta. There were also live demonstrations of traditional crafts and a food area with Romagna specialties, all in a family-friendly atmosphere.
