The wines of the Tigullio hinterland tasted in Castiglione Chiavarese
The Alta Val Petronio Wine Festival showcases the winemaking production of Castiglione Chiavarese, a municipality in the Alta Val Petronio within the Tigullio hinterland, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. It's a hilly area where niche viticulture persists, telling the story of the bond between the community and its land, far from the more beaten tourist routes of the Ligurian coast.
The event offers tastings of local wines accompanied by the convivial atmosphere of a village festival. It's an opportunity to discover producers and wineries from the hinterland and to savor an authentic corner of Eastern Liguria. The Wine Festival is included among the Autentici Liguri 2026 events, the program with which the Liguria Region supports and promotes the most distinctive events of its territories.
The 2026 edition of the Alta Val Petronio Wine Festival is scheduled for June 7th, as part of the Authentic Ligurian events calendar. The day is dedicated to tasting wines produced in the hinterland of Castiglione Chiavarese, in a village festival atmosphere.
The detailed hourly program will be released by the Municipality and the Pro Loco in the preceding days. The day will include:
