The Acquaviva delle Fonti Red Onion Festival is one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the summer in the province of Bari, Apulia. The heart of the festival is the Estramurale Pozzo Zuccaro, the wide boulevard that embraces the ancient center of Acquaviva, where food stalls and the concert stage are set up. Activities extend into the historic center, with its churches, noble palaces such as Palazzo de Mari, and the local Archaeological Museum, which are the highlights of evening guided tours.
