Alongside the food, the festival offers plenty of music: multiple sound stages distributed along the route, dance group performances, roaming street bands, and shows for all ages. For the little ones, there are inflatables and a mini-kart track, making the evening perfect for families.
A tradition by the Comitato Noi Insieme
The event is organized by the Comitato Noi Insieme with the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Montemurlo and the support of the Municipality. Established in the mid-2000s, A Spasso con l'Oste celebrated its twentieth edition in 2025 and has become a defining event for the residents of the village and the entire Montemurlo community. The festival is a precious opportunity to promote local businesses and gather outdoors on summer evenings.

A Spasso con l'Oste usually takes place at the end of June or the very beginning of July, from late afternoon until late at night. Admission is free: simply arrive in Oste, leave your car in the nearby areas, and immerse yourself in the festivities.

How to get there
The village of Oste is located in Montemurlo (PO), on the plain between Prato and Pistoia. By car, it can be reached from the Prato Ovest exit of the A11 Firenze-Mare motorway, continuing towards Montemurlo. By train, the nearest station is Montemurlo (on the Florence-Prato-Pistoia-Viareggio line), a short distance from the village.
Hours and admission
The festival takes place in the evening, roughly from 8:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Admission is free. During the event, the streets along the route are closed to traffic; it is advisable to park in the surrounding areas and reach the center of the village on foot.
Tips
