In Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), the hills that frame the Scaligeri Castles host the XC of the Castles - Trevisan Trophy, a cross-country mountain bike race that opens the cycling season in the West of Vicenza.
A challenge for all categories
The course winds along a hilly dirt path, starting from Largo Vittorio Boschetti and with registration in Via Roma. The competition is open to all categories, from the youngest to masters, and is valid as a "top class" event in the amateur cycling calendar. Race day involves changes to city traffic.
Sport and territory
Organized by EMME SPORT BIKE SSD, the XC of the Castles combines the competitiveness of mountain biking with the discovery of the hilly landscape of Montecchio Maggiore. It is an eagerly awaited event for enthusiasts, who find technical and evocative terrain on the trails around the Castles of Juliet and Romeo.
