About Writers in the Park
A celebration of reading overlooking summer
Writers in the Park is the literary review that opens the cultural season of Termoli (Province of Campobasso, Molise) every year. Promoted by the Casa del Libro Association, chaired by Daniela Battista, with the patronage of the Municipality of Termoli and the support of the MillenniuM Foundation ETS, which manages the Green Theatre, the event offers a series of free meetings with nationally renowned authors.
From the Green Theatre to the Auditorium
The heart of the review is the Green Theatre, the outdoor space immersed in greenery that gives the initiative its name, complemented by the Municipal Auditorium for the opening evenings. The meetings are designed as dialogues: the author presents their latest book and engages in conversation with the public in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
A benchmark for literary Molise
In just a few years, Writers in the Park has become one of the most recognizable literary events in the region, capable of bringing some of the most authoritative names in contemporary Italian narrative, poetry, and theatre to Termoli. The free formula and the quality of the guests make it an eagerly awaited event for readers throughout Molise.
Writers in the Park — edition 2026
The sixth edition of Writers in the Park confirms the formula of six free events with nationally renowned authors, from May 29 to June 30, 2026. It opens at the Municipal Auditorium with Antonio Monda and continues at the Green Theatre with Mario Desiati, Umberto Piersanti, Fabio Stassi, Paolo Di Paolo with Paolo Massari, and concludes with Enrico Ianniello. The review is promoted by the Casa del Libro Association with the support of the MillenniuM Foundation ETS.
