Wine takes center stage in Terni
The Wine Love Weekend is the food and wine event that celebrates wine and the culture of good drinking in Terni, Umbria. For an entire weekend, the main city squares – Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Europa, and Piazza Tacito – transform into a large open-air lounge dedicated to tastings and encounters between producers and enthusiasts.
Wineries, masterclasses, and territory
The heart of the event are the numerous Umbrian and national wineries present with their tasting stands, alongside masterclasses and guided tastings dedicated to the great wines of the region, from Umbrian whites to Sagrantino. There is also a Food Village created with the Coldiretti Campagna Amica Market, featuring typical products and "farmer chefs," and activities dedicated to families and workshops.
Music, food, and conviviality
The Wine Love Weekend is not just about wine: the program includes live concerts, gourmet pairings, evenings of taste, and a spectacular candlelit dinner. It's a format designed to experience the historic center convivially, amidst music, flavors, and enological culture, capable of attracting a broad and diverse audience.
An event for Terni and Umbria
For the Province of Terni and the entire region, the Wine Love Weekend has become a key event for food and wine tourism in just a few editions, promoting Umbria's wine excellences and bringing producers, sommeliers, and prominent guests from the wine world to the city.
Wine Love Weekend — edition 2026
The 3rd edition of the Wine Love Weekend is held from June 5 to 7, 2026, in Terni, between Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Europa, and Piazza Tacito, with over 60 wineries from Umbria and across Italy, and the Food Village set up with the Coldiretti Campagna Amica Market.
Among the events are masterclasses dedicated to Great Umbrian Whites (June 5) and Sagrantino (June 6), the "Wine Culture" Award presented to oenologist Riccardo Cotarella (June 6, 5:00 PM), a concert by Nice&Easy, "Pizza & Love" with master pizzaiolo Enrico Bigotti, and to close, the candlelit dinner "Calici sotto le stelle" in Piazza Tacito (June 7). There will also be space for the "Wine & Jazz" format with the Enonote association and workshops for families.

How to get there
Terni is reachable by train (Rome–Ancona line, Ferrovia Centrale Umbra) and by car from the E45 and the Terni–Orte expressway. The event squares are located in the historic center, reachable on foot.
Tickets
