A gathering inspired by 'We Are One'
The WAO Festival, whose name is an acronym for We Are One, is one of Italy's most important festivals for electronic music, visionary art, and wellness. It takes place at the Parco dei Sette Frati, on Monte Peglia, within the municipality of San Venanzo (Terni), in an area of extraordinary natural value recognized as a MAB UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The music program spans psytrance, techno, and ambient, with a lineup that blends international and emerging artists across multiple stages. But WAO is not just a music festival: its identity is that of a spiritual and eco-sustainable gathering, where music coexists with visionary art installations, holistic workshops, wellness practices, and cultural activities. All inspired by the principles of peace, unity, sustainability, and creativity.
A week in the nature of Monte Peglia
With several days of music, art, and workshops, and the option to camp in tents in the heart of the reserve, the WAO Festival offers an immersive experience in the nature of Monte Peglia. The focus on sustainability is central, in line with the context of the Biosphere Reserve. An event that draws an international audience of psychedelic, electronic, and wellness culture enthusiasts to a lesser-known part of Umbria.
WAO Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the WAO Festival is scheduled from August 12 to 17 at the Parco dei Sette Frati, on Monte Peglia. Six days and five nights of electronic music, art, and workshops, with genres ranging from psytrance to techno and ambient across multiple stages, featuring visionary art installations and wellness activities. Parco dei Sette Frati is located on Monte Peglia, in the municipality of San Venanzo (Terni). By car from the A1 motorway (Orvieto or Fabro exit) or via SS317. Tent camping is available on site.
