The Spritz Party is one of the most anticipated summer events in Volpedo, a village in the Tortona area of the Province of Alessandria, in the heart of Piedmont. Part of the official municipal calendar, the event transforms the town center for one night into a large open-air lounge dedicated to aperitifs, socializing, and music.

Aperitivo and street food

The star of the evening is, naturally, the spritz, served in its most beloved versions: from the Aperol Spritz to the Campari Spritz, true icons of the Italian aperitivo culture. To accompany your drinks, there is plenty of street food, with various stalls offering delicious bites to enjoy while standing or strolling through the venue. It is an informal and relaxed format, perfect for warm July evenings.

Live music

The soundtrack of the festival is provided by live music: local bands and groups energize the square with concerts that continue late into the night, helping to create the cheerful and carefree atmosphere that defines the event. The event takes place at the Foro Boario, in Piazza Fratelli Rosselli, a central and easily accessible space in the village. In case of bad weather, the event is traditionally moved under the nearby covered market, ensuring the evening goes ahead regardless of the conditions.

Visiting the Spritz Party is also a great opportunity to discover Volpedo, a town linked to the painter Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, creator of the famous painting The Fourth Estate.
